England’s ODI cricket team is playing an exciting brand of the 50 over game and will be looking to test themselves against the current world champions. Visit all the major cities of Australia and their iconic ‘backyards’ – the Melbourne cricket ground (MCG), Brisbane’s Gabba, the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), the Adelaide Oval and the brand new Perth Stadium (tbc). You also have the option to travel out a few days early to experience the breath-taking Great Barrier Reef in Tropical Queensland.

This evening we will host a private ‘Cricket’ cocktail party/forum where you will have the opportunity to meet and chat personally with our cricket celebrity guest. Canapés and drinks are included.

1st ODI, Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)
A Sunday game against the old enemy will bring the sports-mad Melbournians out in force and the MCG is likely to be close to its full capacity of 100,000. The atmosphere will be spine-tingling. Top category Platinum seats – behind the bowler’s arm and in the shade – are included. The ground is within walking distance of our hotel but we also provide coach transfers should you prefer not to walk.Monday 15 January b l
Today we take you on a tour of Melbourne including the Royal Botanical Gardens and the vibrant seaside suburbs of St Kilda and Albert Park – around which the F1 Grand Prix is raced. Lunch included.Tuesday 16 January b
Enjoy a free day in Melbourne. It is day 2 of the Australian Tennis Open. There is an afternoon session and an evening session which are sold separately. If you would like to attend, we are happy to help you source tickets. Alternatively, you might like to take the long day trip to the Great Ocean Road, visit the fairy penguins on Philip Island or just enjoy Melbourne’s relaxed lifestyle.Wednesday 17 January b
We say goodbye to Melbourne as we fly north to Brisbane. On arrival we will transfer to the Stamford Plaza Hotel for a three night stay.

Today we take you on a day tour of Brisbane including a cruise on the river and lunch atop Mt Coot-tha with stunning views back over the city.This evening we will host a private ‘Cricket’ cocktail party/forum where you will have the opportunity to meet and chat personally with our cricket celebrity guest. Canapés and drinks are included.
Friday 19 January b
2nd ODI, Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba (The ‘Gabba’)
Named after the suburb of Woolloongabba, in which it is located, the Gabba was first used as a Cricket Ground as early as 1895. Top category Platinum seats – behind the bowler’s arm and in the shade – are included, as are return coach transfers from the hotel.Saturday 20 January b
Today we leave Brisbane and fly to Sydney. Upon arrival we transfer to the Westin Hotel for a four night stay.Sunday 21 January b
3rd ODI, Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)
The first ODI was played at Sydney Cricket Ground against England in 1979. How the game and the SCG have changed since! Enjoy today’s match from Top category Platinum seats – behind the bowler’s arm and in the shade. Return coach transfers from the hotel also included.Monday 22 January b l
Today we take you on a full day tour of Sydney including the historic Rocks area, Bondi Beach, the Botanic Gardens, a tour of Sydney Opera House and a cruise on the harbour. Lunch is included.Tuesday 23 January b
A day at leisure to further explore Sydney. You might like to take a ferry across to one of the Northern Beaches, climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge (N.B. you will need to pre-book; we can assist), take a day trip to the Blue Mountains or simply have a relaxing lunch watching the world go by.Wednesday 24 January b
Today we leave Sydney and fly to Adelaide. On arrival we will transfer to the Hilton Adelaide for a three night stay.Thursday 25 January b l c

4th ODI, Adelaide Oval
The newly renovated Adelaide Oval – which is a pleasant 15 minute stroll from the hotel – has managed to maintain much of its famous charm whilst raising the capacity to over 50,000 ensuring a superb atmosphere when it is full – which it surely will be today – Australia Day. Today we depart Adelaide and fly to Perth. Upon arrival we transfer to the superb Crown Towers Hotel to check-in for three nights.Sunday 28 January b
5th ODI, Perth (venue tbc)
We are all hoping that the new Perth Stadium will be ready. If not, the game will be played at the traditional WACA ground. Either way our hotel is a short walk to the new stadium and a short coach transfer to the old one. Join us for a day tour of Perth visiting King’s Park & Botanic Gardens, Cottesloe Beach and Fremantle, where we will stop for lunch (included).
