The Ashes in Australia 2021/22
November 2021 – January 2022
5 Test matches, ODI/T20 series
The Ashes ‘down under’ is every English cricket supporters’ dream tour. It is notoriously difficult to beat the Aussies in their own backyard, but with an increasingly settled batting line up and genuine fast bowlers, Jofra Archer and Mark Wood, hopes are high that England will give the locals a real run for their money this time round. Add to that prospect the guarantee of glorious sunshine, beautiful beaches and wondrous sights and you have the perfect cricket tour destination!
The Ashes series will be fought out at Australia’s five major Test venues:

Brisbane Cricket Ground
Known as “The Gabba” (from “Woolloongabba” where the stadium is located), the Stadium seats 42,000 and hosted its first test match in 1931

The Adelaide Oval
Considered to be one of the most attractive cricket grounds in the world, boasting views of St Peter’s Cathedral, the Oval seats 53,698 and dates back to 1871

Optus Stadium, Perth
Optus Stadium was awarded the Most Beautiful Stadium in the World in the 2019 Prix Versailles international architecture awards and has 60,000 seats and a fans-first approach in design and technology.

Melbourne Cricket Ground
The MCG seats 100,024 and hosts an annual Boxing Day test match

Sydney Cricket Ground
