The overall organisation of the tour was excellent and the people in the Group were good holiday companions. Martin Denyer was as ever an excellent guide combining his knowledge of the needs of cricket followers with his expertise of the tourist trail. The Sandton Sun Hotel had good facilities, the location was excellent and it was very interesting being in with the England team and entourage. We very much enjoyed the trips to the Apartheid Museum, Soweto and the hastily arranged visit to Pretoria. The cricket tickets gave us an excellent vantage point.
