1st Test at Galle (+ optional 2nd Test at Colombo)
If you only have time for the cricket, this tour is for you! On arrival, we head straight to our beach resort at Ahungalla, near Galle. After a couple of nights to recover from the flight, we are into the 1st Test at Galle. After the Test, we spend one more day on the beach before returning home, going to the Maldives or heading to Colombo for the 2nd Test.

Early afternoon arrival into Colombo International Airport. Transfer to Ahungalla, near Galle for an 8-night stay at the Heritance Ahungalla Hotel. |

Day at leisure, to recover from the journey and acclimatise to the tropical weather. This evening join us for a ‘Welcome’ cocktail party. Includes canapés & drinks. |

1st Test - Galle International Stadium Framed by the Galle Fort and the tragic tsunami of Boxing Day 2004, the Galle International Stadium is one of the most recognisable cricket grounds in the world. Traditionally the ground has been a Murali stronghold, but with the little maestro now retired will it be England’s turn to dominate?
Daily transfers to and from the ground are included.
One evening of the Test match, we will host our Cricket Cocktail Party, at which we will be joined by a luminary or two from the cricket world. Includes canapés and drinks. |

Check out of the hotel and transfer to Colombo International Airport for your mid-morning flight to Male (Maldives) or to London Heathrow (via Dubai) for an evening arrival. |

Today we take you on a sightseeing tour of Colombo, visiting the famous Galle Face area, the commercial area of the ‘Fort’, the ‘Pettah’ oriental bazaar, various places of worship and Independence Square.

2nd Test – P. Sara Stadium, Colombo
As this is just a two Test series, whatever the result of the 1st Test, this match will be hard fought as England and Sri Lanka battle to win the series or pull back level.
Daily transfers to and from the ground are included.

This evening, re-live the highlights of the tour as you enjoy three courses and drinks at our celebratory Farewell Dinner. |

Time to check out of the hotel and transfer to Colombo International Airport for our late morning flight to London Heathrow (via Dubai) for an evening arrival.
Alternatively, stopover in the Maldives.
