England in South Africa, November 2009 – January 2010

TOUR INFORMATION

Passport/Visa requirements :
South Africa: British passport holders do not require a visa, but the passport should be valid for at least 30 days after your intended return date and contain at least two blank pages.
Zambia: British Passport holders require an entry visa, which can be obtained at the port of entry for £35.

Health requirements
We recommend that you contact your GP at least 3 months before departure for up to date information on compulsory and/or recommended vaccinations for South Africa and Zambia. There is currently no malaria risk in the locations we will visit in South Africa (including Pilanesberg National Park, which is malaria free). In Zambia the risk of malaria exists throughout the year in the whole country.

Airlines/upgrades
Package prices are based on economy class flights with Virgin Atlantic and British Airways from London Heathrow. Upgrades may be available for an additional supplement.

The Climate Care Trust
If you are concerned about the damage your flights may inflict on the environment, you might like to consider purchasing an ‘offset’ from The Climate Care Trust’ at www.climatecare.org or telephone 01865 207 000. Your contribution will be used to fund sustainable energy and reforestation projects to maintain a climate-neutral effect. The recommended contribution for a return flight to South Africa is approximately £25.

Avoid the single supplement
If you are travelling on your own and would like to avoid the single supplement, please let us know and we will attempt to match you up with a like minded single traveller.

Financial Security
Book with total confidence, safe in the knowledge that your holiday is ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 5796. Details of ATOL coverage can be found at www.caa.co.uk/atol
