Surrounded by water and more than 50 islands, “The
City of Sails” is said to house more boats per capita
than anywhere else in the world. New Zealand’s largest
city is very cosmopolitan and is home to the largest
Polynesian population anywhere in the world.
As you
would expect from New Zealand’s most populous city, it
boasts outstanding food, wine and shopping with the
Waterfront, redeveloped for the hosting of the 2002/3
America’s Cup, providing a hub of trendy restaurants,
bars and cafes. |
